Dear MCGers,
This is a quick pointer to a post on github where Dan Brickley is looking
at the requirements for adding Exhibitions as a sub-type of Events in
schema.org: https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/445
I know some of you have worked through the details of listing exhibitions
as events, so it'd be great to have your input on the types of information
that'd be useful to surface in search engine results, event listings and
other uses for lightly structured data.
More information on schema is at https://schema.org; the one line version
is that it's a way of adding semantic structure to the content of your
webpages that helps search engines etc understand what the page is about,
whether that's retail items, tickets, artefacts or people.
Cheers, Mia
