Hi Mike
Auckland Museum has used a customised HTML template with turnjs for a page turn book. We deliberately kept it very simple and had it deployed on our website as well as on a touchscreen in the gallery and are planning to hook it up to our CMS for the next iteration, as currently it is a standalone solution with static content. Being HTML5 it works beautifully on tablets, too.
You can find it here: http://www.aucklandmuseum.com/collections-and-library/collections/documentary-heritage-collection/collection-highlights/mary-gould-sketchbook
Cheers,
Nils

Hi Mike,
There are some nice HTML5 options out there, depending on what you're after.
http://www.turnjs.com - downloadable JS library so you should be able to
power this relatively easily with a database.
http://pageflip-books.com - Licensed 3rd-party service (so would
probably require an internet connection)
Cheers

Hi all
I have a vague memory that this might have been asked before but I'm
getting old and have since forgotten.
Are there any recommendations for a nice "page turning" solution -
first of all it's for a kiosk/gallery interactive but there are some
possibilities that it might one day move onto the web, so am trying to
think a bit more holistically.
Requirements - nice to look at, nice to work with, possibility of
driving it from some kind of data store / open format, open standards
would be good, flexible options for each page (ideally, html, so video
/ images / hotspots etc can be used)...
cheers in advance
Mike
