Hi guys,
I was (am) one of the organising group of pedal on parliament, and set up the website for it. It's http://pedalonparliament.org/ and it's based on Wordpress - a really good idea - enabling really straightforward content management and a huge array of possibilities of presentation.
I did originally agree to help out with the CaS website and am glad to help in any way. However, I thought a quick mail would be in order to give you a heads-up in terms of costs.
If you're setting up on a domain you've bought you should budget £30 every two years for domain registry fees, and think of about £50-60 a year for hosting costs. If you get someone who's got a hosting account already, it would be fair to contribute at least £40 as one's share of it. Just I do remember the issue of hosting fees was something that was overlooked. Though small, they can mount up.
best,
alan

Now that I've finally (almost) finished I'd be willing to coordinate the compiling of some content for a wordpress site. Not an attempt to write a canon, manifesto or reading list, more an attempt to give social science cycling research (and researchers) a google-able presence on the internet, with suggestions for how interested researchers/campaigners/journalists might contact someone relevant to their topic or locality. (Plus hyperlinks to past cycling and society or similar symposia.)
