Schroders, a global asset management company which manages £300 billion on behalf of institutional and retail investors, financial institutions and high-net worth clients from around the world has an opportunity for a Records Assistant to gain archives and records management experience in the financial industry sector.
Main duties will include: appraisal of legacy business records; preliminary listing; maintenance of records schedules; basic preservation of historic material; and metadata processing in CALM. The role will be managed out of London but require off-site working in Essex up to 4 days a week. Applicants should have a keen interest in records management and/ or archives and be able to demonstrate strong self-organisation, time management and prioritisation skills, excellent communication skills and thorough attention to detail.
The post is due to start in June 2015 and will be a fixed term 6 month contract.
