we are very pleased to announce two more LLASS events this May. Both will
be taking place at the usual time, from* 5-7pm*, in the usual place, Senate

We are very happy to present you first on *Thursday, 7 May*, (election day,
so easy to remember!) Natalia Buitron-Aries (LSE) who will be presenting a
paper on:
"Preying on State Wealth: on the binds of community development among the
Shuar of Ecuadorian Amazonia".

We will be concluding this year's seminar series on "Crises and Ideologies
of Domination" the subsequent week, on *Thursday, **14 May*, with a
surprise book presentation and seminar by Dr. Ana Dinerstein on:
"Beyond the State Yes-State Not Debate: Rethinking Autonomy in Times of
Crisis"

She will be presenting her new book: *The politics of Autonomy in
