ISLES Challenge: Call for participation
=======================================
www.isles-challenge.org
ISLES is a medical image segmentation challenge for Ischemic Stroke
Lesion Segmentation (ISLES), organized in the scope of the International
Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention
(MICCAI) 2015 (October 5-9th).
We provide a platform for a direct comparison of methods for ischemic
stroke lesion segmentation from multi-spectral MRI images. A public
dataset of diverse ischemic stroke cases and a suitable automatic
evaluation procedure will be made available for the two following tasks:
SISS: sub-acute ischemic stroke lesion segmentation
SPES: acute stroke penumbra estimation
ISLES will be organized as part of a full-day event, encompassing
furthermore the Brainlesion Segmentation Workshop
(www.brainlesion-workshop.org) and the Multimodal Brain Tumor
Segmentation Challenge. A single registration enables you to participate
in all events.
If you are interested in stroke lesion segmentation, developed an
interesting segmentation approach or simply want to get an update on the
newest methods in the field: You are welcome to participate!
If not, we would welcome, if you would forward this mail to potentially
interested parties.
