Hello all
I'm transcribing a collection of Second World War handwritten letters. Does anyone know of software that can transcribe and digitise documents and turn them into searchable documents in Word or similar? I'm probably asking the impossible .... But thought it was worth the question!
All advice gratefully received.

Can I also add that the new Jisc DigitalMedia infokit on Sustainability and Funding also provides some useful guidance on the cost of digitisation which complements this offering from TownsWeb Archiving.

Lots of help out there :-)
Kind regards

Subject: Cost of Digitisation - Guide...
Dear all,
I thought list members might find the linked guide (below) useful, which discusses the cost of digitising various archival materials and gives an overview of the factors that can influence the cost of a digitisation project:

Many thanks,
Paul
