Hello all,
I'm pleased to inform you that 'Stand up, dear city' has returned after a 6 month pause! The theme for this walking workroom will be P L A Y and it will take place on the 28th March at 11am and we will meet outside St Peters Church in Castle Park, Bristol.
(workroom info)
The 9th Stand up, dear city workroom is all about P L A Y and how we attempt this within a city environment. It is something we see on a daily basis and seemingly done so in many different ways, but what exactly is it? Is it something you can do well? Do children do it better than adults? Is the city itself playful?
Throughout the walk we will search high and low for this enticing yet puzzling thing; we will question what we understand by it and we will even force ourselves to do it! (….a very un-playful thing to do.) This is much for those who shift uneasily at the thought of blatant frivolity as for those who welcome it with open arms...
