The appointment will be 0.6 of full time and funding for the post is available for 1 year in the first instance

You will work on a project detailing the syndrome-specific motor profile of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The project aims to address the developmental consequences of impaired motor skills in ADHD by establishing the relationship between the motor system and navigation in ADHD. You will be part of a strong team of experts in neurodevelopmental disorders (Emily Farran, Annette Karmiloff-Smith, Elisabeth Hill) and will run studies with participants with ADHD, Williams syndrome, and typically developing participants to compare motor development, spatial navigation, and their associations.
You will contribute to and manage the project, collaborate in finalising the design of experimental procedures, recruit participants, assess participants’ IQ and motor performance and draft initial method and results sections for research articles and parent news reports.
It is essential that you have a PHD or equivalent qualification in Psychology or a related subject, have experience in conducting Psychology-based studies and standard data coding as well as having experience of statistical analysis using SPSS.
