Our Partner Sport and Citizenship has dedicated the new issue of its Review to the conclusions of the FREE project (Football Research in an Enlarged Europe). Introduced by Sport & Citizenship and by FREE coordinator Albrecht Sonntag the Review includes:
— The 1st interview given on sport by Tibor Navracsics, the new EU Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport;
— An interview with newly elected MEP Theodoros Zagorakis, captain of the Greek team that made football history when they won the Euro 2004;

— Dàvid Ranc & Başak Alpan on « The football stadium as political space ».
These results will be presented during our one day event at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels on 17 March « We’re in the Final » for which a provisional programme is available upon request.
