I have posted a snippet to recreate these plots in the past (here:

will also take this opportunity (again ;) to advertise the motion
fingerprint which will give you total, as well as frame-to-frame
displacement, in a more integrative fashion (i.e., without the
artificial separation into translation and rotation). There is a link at
the bottom of my signature in case you're interested in trying it out.
