Dear colleague,
we are pleased to announce that the deadline for abstract submission for
12th International Conference on Computational Management Science
(http://cms2015.cuni.cz) is now extended to February 28th 2015. Moreover,
registration is now open; the deadline for early registration is March
31st 2015.

The CMS conference is an annual meeting associated with the journal of
Computational Management Science published by Springer. The aim of this
conference is to provide a forum for theoreticians and practitioners from
academia and industry to exchange knowledge, ideas and results in a broad
range
of topics relevant to the theory and practice of computational methods,
models and empirical analysis for decision making in economics,
engineering, finance and management. The focus is on all computational
aspects of management science: theoretical and empirical studies of
computational methods, models and empirical analysis.
The CMS 2015 puts special emphasis on stochastic programming (theory and
applications) and is supported by Euro Working Group on Stochastic
Programming.
Keynote speakers:
Vivek Farias (MIT, Massachusetts, USA)
Dick den Hertog (Tilburg University, Netherlands)
Georg Pflug (University of Vienna, Austria)
Alexander Shapiro (Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA)
Selected papers presented at the conference will also be considered for
publication in a special issue of Computational Management Science.
A Student Best Paper Prize will be awarded at the CMS conference. The
prize is 250 EUR and includes the possibility of publication in the
journal of Computational Management Science. The nomination can be done by
sending an e-mail to [log in to unmask] till April 15th 2015. Only
registered participants' papers will be considered for the prize.
The CMS conference will be followed by a satellite conference focusing on
optimization models and algorithms for real-world applications in energy,
engineering, logistics, management and other areas. It will take place in
Brno (South Moravian region of the Czech Republic) from May 31st to June
2nd, 2015. The transport Prague-Brno with a social program (visit of a
typical wine cellar) is offered for May 30th 2015. For more information
send an e-mail to Pavel Popela [log in to unmask]
We hope you accept this invitation to a beautiful city of history and
culture – Prague
With best regards,
Milos Kopa
