Funding is available for a 1 year M.Sc. in Statistics by research in the area of statistical methods for anomaly detection in financial transactions.
The research project is co-funded by Accenture’s Analytics Innovation Centre, based in Dublin, and the Insight Research Centre for Data Analytics (see http://insight-centre.org).
The project will be based in the Statistics Discipline at Trinity College Dublin. It is expected that the student will work closely with collaborators at Accenture during the project.
The project is available to begin from 1st March 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter. Funding will include payment of fees and a tax-free scholarship.
