I want to share information about this grant for researchers located on British Universities. In our specific case, the fellowship would take place at the Chapingo Autonomous University, Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science, located at the centre of México, 40 kms from Mexico city.
The social statistics research group is conducting research to evaluate the level of impact of public policies for tackling challenges as poverty, gender equity, human development and access to education, among others. We are interesting to contact researchers from British universities and interested on coming to Mexico, in order to conduct research related on these fields.
The CONACYT International Fellowships will be aimed at supporting early career post-doctoral (with no more than seven years’ active full time postdoctoral experience) researchers from UK in their career development, covering all fields of the Natural Sciences and Engineering, Medical Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. In our specific case, we are looking for researchers with expertise on social statistics, survey methods, multivariate analysis and MCDA methods.

The Chapingo Autonomous University is a teaching and research institution whose goals are: to provide high school and college education, develop basic and technological scientific research and increase culture. Its origins are in the National School of Agriculture, founded on February 22nd 1854, in the San Jacinto.

Master of science degrees have been created such as: Agroforestry for a Sustainable Development, Agricultural Biotechnology, Forestry Sciences, Agro-food Science and Technology, Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering and Integrated water use, Educational Processes, Livestock Innovation, Vegetal Protection, Natural Resources and Environment in Arid Zones and Rural Sociology.
