Good evening, or rather Good morning by the time you get this,
Can anyone with experience of supporting Journal Clubs offer any advice on the below?
Under the NHS copyright licence, could a member of a Journal Club store a copy of an article on an intranet for longer than 30 days to be accessed by other members of the journal club?
I've been asked if the clause 5.1 of the copyright licence, that copies can be stored and accessed on an intranet for longer than 30 days to be assessed by people 'as being either part of a product-related, project-related or function-specific database; such stored Digital Copies may be indexed and searchable and may be accessed by colleagues within the same workgroup ...' could be applied to a journal club.
Would you say a Journal Club would fall within these parameters or not?
I'm thinking perhaps it won't but I'm not sure.
Thanks in anticipation,
Frances Griffiths
