Anne -- thanks for sharing those resources. They look quite interesting.
But I wonder, would you suggest that it would be more effective to get at the nuance of how evidence and information affect leadership decision making via interviews rather than disseminating a "questionnaire?"
Maureen -- how do you intend to gather your data? In my experience the time spent to talk to people may be able to get at a level of understanding that won't necessarily surface by asking folks to write out their answers or check boxes.
I also wonder If some prework would be useful here. Sometimes the impact of a piece of information/evidence could remain latent for a while. Having people think about their process for using and responding to info/evidence in their decision making -- prior to discussing that with them -- could be an interesting approach.

Hi there
Before you draft your survey have a look at:
Explaining Health Managers' Information Seeking Behaviour and Use

and
Health care managers' access and use of management research

They may help you formulate your questions.

Subject: board members current awareness and decision making
Dear all
I am about to draft up a questionnaire to board members to see how they utilise current awareness and how this affects their decision making. Has anyone done this? And would you be will to share your questions and let me know how responsive the outcome was.
Kind Regards
Maureen
