I have asked our website manager if we can advertise the app for our users.
Yet to hear back but good to hear it's appreciated.

Subject: [lis-e-resources] OvidToday App
Hi folks,
Who else out there is promoting/using the OvidToday iPad App? It's currently only available for iPad, but they say they're working on an Android version (no idea when it'll be ready).
We've just started and the initial response is positive. This seems a very user-friendly approach to mobile full text. It's just intended as current awareness, for browsing TOCs and accessing full text of an institution's current Ovid subs (including saving on the App for offline reading), and I notice that the last issues we purchased of expired subs are also available. We have 65 current Ovid journal subscriptions, which isn't many in comparison with our friends in the universities, but is pretty good for a NHS Trust. I will be looking with interest at our usage stats when they start coming through.
I'm making some customised user guides/publicity aimed at NHS library colleagues. Happy to share.
Best wishes,
Helga
