Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce that the latest issue (Volume 13, Issue 3) of Sibirica has been published by Berghahn Journals. The first article looks at the prospects and the reality of British commercial activity in Siberia in the early twentieth century, before World War I. The second article discusses the role of censorship in the transformation and performance of historical narratives concerning the development of the relationship between the state and indigenous tundra people. The third article in this issue explores the origins of motifs popularly implemented in Eskimo art. The issue concludes with a field report documenting oral narratives in the Koryak language and a book reviews section. Anchor
