We are seeking to recruit a medical statistician, or an epidemiologist with strong data handling and analytical skills, to work on epidemiological studies of the causes of cancer. The post is full-time or could be part-time, not less than 4 days per week, as agreed with the applicant. The starting date will be as soon as practical, by mutual arrangement.
An MSc or other higher degree in Statistics with knowledge of statistical methods in medical research, or an MSc or other higher degree in Epidemiology with strong analytical skills, is essential.
The starting salary will be on the Research Assistant/Research Fellow pay scale with a starting salary between £28,966 p.a. and £34,359 p.a. inclusive, depending on qualifications and experience. The post will be until 30th September 2016 in the first instance with potential for renewal thereafter.
