Here is a link to a digital catalog created by Zelalem Assefa that has images of the teeth of large mammals from East Africa. The catalog is searchable and has both maxillary and mandibular teeth, male and female, adult and juvenile views. The images come from the very large Smithsonian collections. It is a wonderful (if under utilized) resource.

Subject: [ZOOARCH] Reference request - South African mammalian fauna
I'm wondering if any of you know of reliable reference manuals for the identification of mammalian fauna from South Africa broadly, the Eastern Cape in particular. I am aware of Klein and Brain's work, and looking specifically for osteological drawings or keys. Any bibliographic information would be much appreciated!
