With apologies for cross posting.
The Museum of London are recruiting a Digital Learning Coordinator. As the leading museum for London, we tell the story of the world's greatest city and its people - so why not make this the place to discover your story of London?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Learning team to support the delivery of on-site sessions for schools and families that include digital technologies such as tablets and smartphones. You will also coordinate a programme of videoconferences and webinars for schools, and assist with the creation of online resources for teachers, pupils, families and universities.
We are looking for someone with a passion for how museums can use digital technologies and the web to support learning, in particular for schools and families. You will need a basic technical understanding of hand-held digital devices and associated software, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, the ability to write well for different audiences, and a keen eye for detail. Ideally you will also have some experience of producing online content and of working in a museum, heritage or arts setting.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 28 December at 5pm. Interviews will be held on Friday 16 January 2015.
