Following the publication of the Annual Report of the Chief Medical Officer “Our Children Deserve Better: Prevention Pays”, I am writing on behalf of Dr Owen Gower, Programme Director at Cumberland Lodge, to invite you to join us for a two day conference to gather the latest thinking on children's health in the UK and focus on recommendations for putting the research into practice.
The conference is designed to draw together health professionals, public health officials, representatives from non-governmental organisations, charity groups and academic researchers in the field of children's health. We will also be joined by Dr Claire Lemer (Consultant in General Paediatrics), the Editor in Chief of the Annual Report. The conference will explore four key areas:
• Family Stress
