Research Officer
Salary: £33,450 - £40,462 per annum
Fixed-term 1 April 2015 - 20 March 2018
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral Research Officer position, tenable from 1 April 2015 for three years. You will work under the direction of Professor Piotr Fryzlewicz on the EPSRC-funded research project "New Challenges in Time Series Analysis".
Applicants should have a PhD in statistics or a related subject and should demonstrate clear research achievement or potential for such achievement in mathematical statistics and statistical computation. A strong research track-record with a solid mathematical statistics foundation is essential for the job. The project also involves extensive computation. Experience in time series research is desirable but not essential.
