The Unit is offering 4 (Four) full PhD MRC Studentships (UK / EU Nationals) to commence in October 2015:
1. The studentships are for full time study only.
2. Available for commencement in October 2015
3. Full awards cover Cambridge University fees (at the Home/EU rate only) and a competitive stipend for a period of 3 years only.

3. Modelling regulation in embryonic stem cells - Supervisor- Lorenz Wernisch
4. Sparse regression approaches to explore associations between genotype and metabolomic profile in the INTERVAL study - Supervisors: Paul Newcombe (MRC Biostatistics Unit) and Adam Butterworth (Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit, University of Cambridge).
5. Metabolic pathway modelling in bacteria - Supervisor - Lorenz Wernisch
6. Design and Analysis of Case-Cohort Studies - Supervisor: Ian White
7. Statistical issues in analysis of electronic patient record data - Supervisor -Rebecca Turner
8. Inference for stochastic models of cellular processes - Supervisor: Lorenz Wernisch
9.Modelling real-time neural dynamics and neuron consensus - Supervisors Simon White (MRC Biostatistics Unit) and John Duncan (MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit)
