Hi,
I did not start actually merging the requirements as I think that we are still in discussions.
We could mark requirements in the etherpad for which the merging is agreed by everyone.
Then we could start merging these requirements.
Cheers,
Thomas
Hi everyone,
Today Valentine and I had a long discussion about the requirements considered for merging at
https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/requirements_analysis
We didn't go as far as we wanted, but it was a very interesting exercise nonetheless. It had been a long time we had been able to discuss the stuff together from a Europeana perspective.
I've added some notes to the Etherpad about specific requirements and updates we've made on Europeana-related UCs.
Some general remarks by mail:
- the merging effort is useful, and many candidates merges make a lot of sense!
- we were wondering whether someone (Thomas) had already started to prepare the merge, e.g. by shifting some data property UC from a data property Req to the Req that should remain after merging. If yes apoologies because we moved back one UC to the Req with its 'natural' type of property.
- we really favor focusing on the DC requirements first. The Req analysis page contain many requirements, and we suspect some come from the W3C discussions. Given our bandwidth we think we should leave these aside, at least for these first merging efforts!
Cheers,
Antoine
