Dear Critters,
Reimagine London is a project to imagine the capital as a new kind of national park. The project started earlier in the year with 132 undergraduate students from the School of Geography at Queen Mary University of London exploring all of London's boroughs to take photographs of the capital as a national park. This work resulted in over 1,500 photographs being exhibited in City Hall.
The next part of this engaging project is a one day event at Southbank.
Join us for a day of inspirational presentations, practical surgeries, engaging panel discussions and a conversation that could lead to London becoming the world's first National Park City. Speakers announced so far include:
Sir Terry Farrell CBE, leading architect planner and Mayor’s Design Advisor
Alison Barnes, CEO of the New Forest National Park
Dave Morris, Chair of London Green Spaces Friends Groups Network
Judy Ling Wong CBE, UK President of Black Environment Network
Steve Head, National Wildlife Gardening Forum
Beth Collier, nature based psychotherapist
Steve Cole, Neighbourhoods Green Coordinator
Helen Steer, city farmer
Iain Green, wildlife photographer
