I came across one of them locally (Petersfield). He seemed quite knowledgable archaeologically. A retired gentleman. They are trying to gather data to excavate and prove that dowsing works. That in itself is fine if it is carried out professionally and fully recorded. However, he didn't use dowsing rods and gave a date for a feature which was weird without any evidence whatsoever.
