Archives and Records Association Uk and Ireland
Film, Sound & Photography Section
Event & AGM at the Gallery of Photography, Dublin 17/11/2014
The Film, Sound & Photography Section of the Archives and Records Association [FSPS] is pleased to announce its AGM and training event, which will be taking place at the Gallery of Photography, Dublin on Monday 17th November 2014.
Details of presentations will follow shortly. Please check list-servs and the ARA website.
Alongside the presentations, the FSPS will hold its AGM, including a Q&A session regarding the management of film, sound & photographic collections.
The Film, Sound & Photography Section is an active group of archivists, conservators and other specialists. We are seeking ARA members to join our committee to help us serve our members and the wider ARA membership. We are also seeking a successor to our current Chair, Martin Devereux, who will be stepping down at the AGM.
Serving as a committee member can be very rewarding. Serving on a committee can help those undertaking Registration gain additional credits and make an effective contribution to the profession as a whole.
If you’d like more information about joining the Section’s committee then please contact Jim Ranahan, Hon. Secretary of the FSPS.([log in to unmask])
