Please will members bring this to the attention of anyone they know who wants to combine records management experience in a records assistant role with working in a Museum, with museum collections.
The role is a combination of corporate records management and object collections management, but we are hoping to balance the skill set across the team by recruiting someone with records management experience.

Hours: 36.25 per week
Deadline for applications: 19/10/2014 23:59
Located on the historic site of the world’s oldest surviving passenger railway station, housed in five listed buildings – the Museum of Science & Industry, Manchester tells the story of the city’s scientific and industrial past, present and future. The Museum’s site has 15 permanent galleries, an ever-changing range of special exhibitions, and an exciting calendar of events that combine to attract up to 800,000 visitors each year. Our outstanding collection tells the story of Manchester as the place where science and industry met and the modern world began, and the impact that Manchester science and technology continues to have on our lives.
