Subject: Decontamination of equipment following Ebola positive samples
We currently run Roche main analysers and do not have a small stand alone analyser for stat samples. The issue of a procedure for decontamination of equipment if we have run a sample through the analyser from a patient who turns out to be infected with Ebola has been raised. What are other people planning to do in this situation and what is a reasonable procedure that is not going to take the analyser out of action for long. Thank you - Paul Thomas
