Invitation to participate in the 8th annual BrainModes conference on: Emergent dynamics from large scale brain networks in health and disease.
11th and 12th December 2014
We are delighted to invite you to join us for BrainModes 2014 at the beautifully located Royal College of Physicians, Regents Park, London. The theme of this year's Brainmodes meeting is emergent dynamics from large scale brain networks in health and disease, reflecting the growing appreciation of the complexity of the inter-relationships between the activity of local brain regions, the structural networks that connect them and the emergence of (dys)function that results. We are delighted to have some of the very best researchers in this rapidly expanding field agree to present at the meeting, who will focus both on theoretical methods for inferring brain networks from multi-modal data, how these networks determine emergent function, and their application to both normal brain function such as cognition and neurological disease such as epilepsy, schizophrenia and dystonia.
