"The Times" has been reproducing WWI pieces from its columns !00 yrs ago.
Today (Thurs) it reproduces a letter of 18th Sept 1914 headed
"AUTHOR'S SUPPORT FOR RIGHTEOUS WAR" saying that Britain could not
without dishonour have refused to take part, signed by numerous
authors incl RK - and many other famous ones.
This letter is not in Pinney's Letters nor mentioned in Lycett,
Birkenhead or Gilmour..
I wonder who organised the letter and signatories?
