Attachment, Group Analysis and Psychodrama Workshop
Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th October 2014
Psychodrama and group analysis are two effective methods of group psychotherapy. Dr Mario Marrone and Marcia Karp, two masters in their field,
demonstrate the two methods separately and then combined together.
It will include:
• Group analysis with Dr Mario Marrone.
• Psychodrama with Marcia Karp.
• Both group experiences and theoretical discussions include original concepts and lives of Foulkes and Moreno.
• A rare opportunity to experience and discuss a combination of Group Analysis and Psychodrama
This two and a half day workshop is hosted by London Psychodrama Network
All are welcome and early booking is recommended.
Dr Mario Marrone: Formerly an NHS psychiatrist, Mario Marrone is a group analyst and psychoanalyst. He has also trained in psychodrama, social psychology, psychosomatic medicine and attachment theory. For ten years, Dr. Marrone was supervised at the Tavistock by John Bowlby, founder of Attachment Theory.
He is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and has lectured and conducted workshops internationally. He is the author of several books published in several languages. He has been member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy and member of the European Union Experts Committee on Mental Health Promotion for Young Children.

Marcia Karp: MA, TEP, UKCP. Marcia trained in psychodrama with founder J.L. Moreno and Zerka Moreno; co-director Holwell International Psychodrama Centre; Honorary President Emeritus British Psychodrama Association; co-edited books translated into five languages: "Psychodrama: Inspiration and Technique"; "Psychodrama Since Moreno"; "The Handbook of Psychodrama" (Routledge). Founding member Federation of European Training Organisations; Fellow American Society of Group Psychotherapy/Psychodrama; past Board of IAGP. Lifetime Achievement Awards in UK and USA. Currently international trainer/supervisor, past NHS Senior Psychodrama Psychotherapist in private practice, London
