The 2014 CILIP Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Saturday, 20 September, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Bristol. It will be held in conjunction with CILIP’s Big Day, a free mini conference for CILIP members, bringing together high profile speakers, award presentations and CILIP’s AGM. Publisher and philanthropist William Sieghart is confirmed as this year’s key note speaker and is joined by CILIP President Barbara Band and Vice President Jan Parry. Attendance at this MEMBER ONLY event is free, but registration is required - BOOK at http://www.cilip.org.uk/cilip/events/cilip-big-day-and-agm-2014
The CILIP AGM provides an opportunity for members to participate in important and formal CILIP business. All members are welcome to attend the AGM. Only individual members can vote. Those not entitled to vote are still welcome to come as observers.
Individual members who cannot attend the meeting may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. You may nominate the Chair of the meeting, or another individual member who will be attending, as your proxy and instruct them to vote exactly as you wish on each of the items on the agenda.
