This seems likely to be of interest to some geophysicists, too.

Dear colleagues,
I would like to draw your attention to:
*Geopresssure2015*
/'The life history of a well'/
14-16 April, at Durham University, UK
An international conference and workshop on pore fluid and fracture pressures in hydrocarbon exploration.
www.durham.ac.uk/geopressure2015 <http://www.durham.ac.uk/geopressure2015>
Geopressure 2015 will be the third international conference on this topic to be held at Durham University (previously in 1995 and 2008). Previous Geopressure conferences at Durham have been a huge success and offered industry and academia a forum to discuss aspects of drilling HPHT wells, pressure prediction, interpretation of borehole stress data and exploration, significance of pressure data (e.g. for seal breach risk analysis and hydrodynamic trapping) and impact of overpressure on reservoir quality.
We are now accepting abstract submissions for the conference with the deadline for submission 28th November 2014. We readily encourage abstract submissions in all areas of geopressure and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me or other members of the technical committee (www.durham.ac.uk/geopressure2015 <http://www.durham.ac.uk/geopressure2015>).
We shall look forward to your contributions.
Best wishes,
Stuart.
