I really dont understand the the thinking that cloud storage is sensible.
for cheapness you can make your own store on a few disk drives and
keep a backup copy, keep checksums of your files to check for bit rot
(see http://www.fedora-commons.org/).
2TB disk is just £69, so you need 5 plus a set as backup, you can expand later.
Or you can make a RAID array using more disks where there is built in
redundancy (still would keep a backup at a different location)
