Hi Jeetesh
We recently did some work on this at Cambridge Judge Business School, although the driver behind it was sorting out the fractured landscape of our references on all the legacy Google products that have contributed info to Google My Business. Profile consolidation rather than marketing. That said, Google Plus does play a (small) part in our communications strategy. You can read a more about our experience at http://www.blogs.jbs.cam.ac.uk/digitalstrategy/2014/07/10/google-my-business
The best part was the customer service we received from Google, who really seem to be supporting the product.
Best wishes
Peter

Subject: Google My Business
Hello.
Are there any Universities who have started using Google My Business for a web presence?
If so, have you:
- Found it successful and useful?
- Have had any problems with it e.g. has had a negative impact on search results?
- Was it used as a University as a whole or were individual entries for departments and colleges?
- How has this influenced or effected your G+ or google local presence?
Any pointers would be helpful.
