Hi Debbie
Places I have worked with large
Workforces did generic - "this is our new provider " letters with default as notes transfer and opt out if objection but onus was on staff to notify outgoing provider.
Just as an added query (sorry Debbie to crash your post) how do others transfer archived/leavers notes?

If no contact from employee then it was assumed that consent had been given. Notices outlined benefits of transferring records eg continuity, benefit of historical info for new clinicians but there were still a fair amount with queries, pithy comments and similar re the process and rationale which created additional (unavoidable?) work for the OHA. I have no idea re whether there's a better way, I'm sure it's very dependant on numbers.....
