This issue isn't about statistical inference but about biological interpretability. The results you have are statistically valid, but if you wish to know what biological areas these results are associated with then you either need to interpret it visually, using your own anatomical knowledge (which is the best method) or by using ROIs and probabilistic atlases (which will give you a set of overlaps with the probabilistic regions).
