Good morning all,
I have had a referral this morning for someone with palmar psoriasis, the person works in a health promotional role and is required to follow the hand hygiene policies, today, the palmar surface on both hands is clearly irritated with red, well demarcated scaly lesions. The employee is under the care of a dermatologist and has prescribed creams, lotions and moisturisers. I have advised that as far as practicable, only the prescribed skin cleansers or simple soaps should be used.
I would be grateful if anyone has any other specific advice with regards to this condition that you would be willing to share please?
