Dear Ian
I would appreciate it if you could circulate this EPSRC survey from Dr
Liam Blackwell to members of the NGN list so they have the opportunity
to input their views. It only takes a few minutes to complete the survey..
Thanks for your help.
Gerard

Dear colleague,
With the assistance of a sub group of the ICT Strategic Advisory Team,
the ICT Theme have been exploring the potential for interventions to
deliver what we are describing as a research and innovation internet
environment. Thinking so far has focused around the simulation and
emulation of future internet systems that are beyond those that can be
delivered in conventional research environments, and allows more
realistic assumptions and findings to be made and gained. With a
positive being that this would enhance the research that can be
conducted and ease its application in the field, as well as give a
capability that researchers and users across the UK can make use of.
However, in order to get wider input on this issue, the sub group of the
ICT Strategic Advisory Team concerned has generated this survey.
It would be helpful if you could complete this survey, by 4pm on the 10
July, so that we can feed your inputs in to subsequent discussions on
this issue.

Please feel free to forward this e-mail to colleagues who you feel
should contribute to this survey.
Regards
Jeanna Gowland on behalf of Dr Liam Blackwell
