Hi,
> Something to remember when running FreeRADIUS in debug mode (i.e. when running 'freeradius -fxx -l stdout') - I suggest you add "|tee -a /tmp/logname" to the command. Unfortunately you may find that there is a *lot* of the "Waking up in xx seconds" output that will scroll by. Once you finish the run, simply grep -v "Waking up in" to get the pure FreeRADIUS output. The log file will probably be sizeable. Our session today delivered a 2GB log file, from which we got around 2MB in real output. The remainder was all taken up with "Waking up in xx seconds" output.

that 'Waking up in XX seconds' should only be printed out every XX seconds. if you see it scroll
a ridiculous amount of times (ie just screens and screens of it) then thats a bug to be fixed.
personally, I prefer to use 'script' for capturing a session... you get the whole thing of what
you were doing captured...so can recall whatever 'setenv' or EXPORT or what file you edited before
running it etc.
script mycapturefile.txt
then do your stuff
then 'exit'
easy
