To celebrate the new national license from Jisc for the higher education community in the UK to have access to ProQuest’s Early European Books collections 1-4, a key symposium is set to take place in October to highlight the unique scholarly research potential within the collection.
Improving research outcomes with Early European Books - October 13, 2014 from 09:30 - 16:30 (BST)
University of London, Senate House, London, UK
This new agreement enables early modernist scholars, researchers and librarians unprecedented access to a unique corpus of 26,000 rare and highly valuable early modern volumes covering the period 1450-1700 from major European libraries. Attend this one day symposium and learn how your peers are using this collection already to power their research.
The event entitled: ‘Improving research outcomes with Early European Books’ will see key speakers from libraries and organisations across the UK and Europe sharing their research experiences from using this invaluable body of work. In addition, there will be the opportunity for open discussions between researchers and librarians.
A detailed conference programme will follow soon.
