Just seeing this email trail now.
We use the Basic Integration also. At the recent user group meeting in Newcastle, we were advised to stay on the Basic Integration until the next generation integration is ready - early 2015.
We are also upgrading to April 2014 Bb at the end of this month. I did install the Basic Integration building block on our (April 2014) test environment, with no issue. It appears to work fine. We'll be testing on staging next week.
One thing - you need to make the tool available in a couple of places, otherwise it just doesn't appear anywhere. Once I'd figured that out - it worked fine.
Adel Gordon also had some issues with the Tii Basic Integration on Bb April 2014, but these appear to have been resolved when she reinstalled the building block.
