BARS Members,
I hope you'll pardon the shameless plug, but list members might like to know that Pickering & Chatto have just released my four-volume edition entitled The Travel Writings of John Moore.
The series covers a five-year Grand Tour that Scottish physician John Moore made as companion to the Duke of Hamilton in the 1770s (first two volumes), and Moore's first-hand experiences in France during the revolution, with his thoughts on its causes (third and fourth volumes). It's fascinating reading!

Cheers, and happy summer,
Ben
