Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Statistical Programmer to join a global top 20 Pharmaceutical company. My client is offering a very competitive salary package and excellent career progression.
The successful candidate will work within a lead position and will take responsibility for statistical programming support for the Pharma Development, Early Development, and/or EpiPRO organizations.
In this position you will lead the statistical programming teams and ensure consistent end to end statistical programming support in planning, designing, developing, implementing statistical software solutions for the reporting and analysis of a clinical project or a similarly complex set of deliverables.
Responsibilities include
• Monitoring the programming activities and ensure that project programming adheres to set standards.
• Ensuring effective coordination and communication in supporting clinical and non-clinical project goals
• Take a lead role on user aspects of technical infrastructure or business initiatives with a focus on statistical programming, data process and analysis reporting procedures.
• Ensure all members of the team are clear on their roles and responsibilities, monitor progress against plans and initiate adaptive actions as appropriate.
• Promotes team development by proactively seeking out alternative points of view, providing a role model for others, building cooperation, and expecting effective performance.
Experience
• Experience in the use of advanced SAS options, procedures, delivery methods, and programming paradigms. Ability and willingness to teach these to other team members.
• Familiar with relevant operating systems, experience in detecting and addressing unusual data patterns and issues.
• Has sound understanding of data collection and database concepts including data flows in clinical trials as well as Pharma industry data standards, such as CDISC/SDTM and ADaM data models. Experience in leading and driving the implementation of new data and analysis standards. .
• Solid applied Project Management skills
Qualifications
• Ideally educated to BSc, MSc in an industry related field i.e. Biological Sciences, Computer Sciences or equilivant.
