Dear Moira,
We have recently launched our Equality & Inclusion (E&I) Framework - an institution-wide framework and strategy for equality and inclusion: http://www.equality.leeds.ac.uk/downloads/policies/9400_EI_Report_Final_160114.pdf
Our equality objectives have been incorporated into the priorities/objectives and actions which support the delivery of the E&I strategy. These were developed through analysis of data, best practice across the sector and by involving key networks and committees, unions, as well as students and staff through consultation workshops.
Best wishes,
Ian

Subject: Equality objective setting - the end of the Equality Scheme as we knew it?
Dear Colleagues,
I hope the summer is treating you well.
Our current equality scheme expires in 2015 and we are reviewing how best to establish, frame and achieve future equality objectives and fulfil the PSED.
Is anyone else currently working on strategy and objective setting?
If so, are you thinking in terms of an equality scheme or a new strategic model?
What resources are you drawing on to set equality objectives and are you finding any gaps?
If it were possible to develop a project in this area, would colleagues welcome (and/or wish to participate in) some form of shared practice/guidance for establishing equality objectives and developing strategy?
Please contact me if you wish to answer or discuss any or all of these questions.
With thanks and best wishes,
Moira
