As a JISCmail member Sustainable Society Network + is pleased to give you advanced notice of our next workshop, run in collaboration with the Scaling the Rural Enterprise project, on sustainable local food systems.
The “Digital Technologies for Sustainable Local Agri-Food Systems” workshop will bring together 50 academics, practitioners and representatives of international and local public institutions including confirmed participation of the FAO, OECD and EU to discuss in a dynamic and interactive setting the theories, practices and policies for developing local sustainable agri-food systems that are able to re-connect the city with countryside in a new balanced and sustainable relationship through the use and application of innovative digital technologies.

The event is a participatory blended workshop, which mix interactive and presentation activities during the 2 days long workshop, to develop a collaborative reflection and research agenda across different stakeholders.
Please note, as we only have 30 places available to active participants in the workshop activities, registration is therefore subject to approval.

4) What do you think are the biggest barriers or gaps in technology for AAFNs and or Urban Food strategies currently?
