Hi MCGers,
We're about to put up a survey on our collection online, asking questions about context of search, motivation for search, aims (what they want to come away with), and satisfaction. The aim is to get some useful data to help us review the user experience.
I was wondering if any museums or other orgs out there had done a similar survey recently, and wouldn't mind sharing their survey questions with us?
Or if they had any thoughts. I'd be happy to share ours as well, if you wanted, off list.
Another thing - at the end of that, we will have a good idea of what our current users think and want (hopefully), but how do we find out what the people who don't currently use our site/Collection online want? How could we help each other to find that out? Could we host surveys for each other?
Forgive me if I have missed a thread or post that covers this in recent times - point me to it and I'll shut up.
Thanks,
Matthew Cock
