Hi James,
Yes we are, access to the full text articles within Science Direct from off campus isn't working properly at all here at Cardiff Met. A user reported this late yesterday afternoon.
I've not done much troubleshooting on this yet but I can see that our proxied links from Summon are taking people to pages where they are asked to purchase the content! Therefore I've had to advise our library users to click on 'Sign In' and 'Sign in as Cardiff Met' to get in which defeats the purpose of the proxied links. I checked the OCLC site yesterday and the EZ proxy stanza for Elsevier hasn't changed, so I'm about to log a call with Elsevier.
At this stage I'm not sure if this is a Summon thing or an Elsevier thing, I suspect the latter given recent postings to the list. Therefore if anyone else is also experiencing the same thing and has found a solution we would be grateful if you respond and / or post to the list?
Kind regards
Julie

Hi folks,
On a Elsevier-related note, is anyone experiencing access issues with Science Direct at all?
Best wishes
James

Hello Sarah,
It seems to be okay for us, either via WAYFless or the Central Discovery Service. We're authenticating via our own IdP rather than OpenAthens which you and DMU have in common. Have you tried clearing out cookies for since SciVerse was dropped?
Warmest regards,
Dom Benson

Hello all,
I wonder if anyone else out there is having problems accessing Scopus via Shibboleth at the moment? We have been having problems since last week (we're getting a very helpful error message that states there is an "unknown error"). Elsevier have said that this is a very unusual problem, and it may be some time before it is resolved!
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
Sarah
